I’m Molly-Ann Leikin
Rhymes with bacon
Hi! Nice to meet you!
As a staff writer at Almo Music (A & M Records), then Interworld Music and Chappell Music, I got my songs recorded by almost every pop and country artist on the Billboard charts.
An Emmy nominee, I’ve written themes and songs for dozens and dozens of TV shows and movies, including Violet, which won an Oscar.
I’ve also written songs for and with everyone from Katy Perry to Placido Doming to, Cher, Tina Turner, Anne Murray, Billy Preston – even Yitzy Ya Ya and the Yo Yo’s.
And I am the author of eight traditionally published books, including How to Write A Hit Song and How To Be A Hit Songwriter.
In addition, I’ve mentored two generations of lyricists, songwriters, and singer/songwriters. Twelve of my clients are Grammy winners. Nineteen more are Grammy nominees. With my help, thousands and thousands of other lyricists, songwriters, artists, and bands, just like you, have placed their work in TV show, movies, video games, commercials, and their music is downloaded all over the web.
Are you next?
