Music Supervisors Need Your Original Music!

By Molly-Ann Leikin

Music supervisors are the talented gatekeepers for all music used in movies, TV shows and often, commercials.  These people need original songs, and can give you your first big break.  They love to discover new artists

If you tell “supe” JB about a recent placement with an MG project, you’re going to appear much more desirable to supe PL than if you approached her saying, please, I need a break.  Then when WP hears about your track in PL’s new indie film, she’ll come looking to you for more of your original music.

See?

In my book, INSIDER SECRETS TO HIT SONGWRITING IN THE DIGITAL AGE, I interviewed triple Emmy-winning music supervisor, Robin Urdang (Mrs. Maisel).

Read Robin’s chapter.

It can change your life.
